THE STORY
Daniel was born a son of a slave, but still got to study at the finest schools. When he grew up he became a hell of an artist. He was hired to paint the portrait of a rich man's daughter and they had an affair. This really pissed that dude off and he lead the whole town in a lynching of Daniel. They cut off his hand and beat the shit out of him. When he was still alive they stripped him down and spread honey all over his body and let the bees sting him to death. His love could not look except through her mirror which was his last sight in our world. His spirit was captured in the mirror. Now when those call Candyman five times in a mirror he appears and kills you with his hook or his bees. What is the deal with toilets though? Everywhere you look he is killing somebody around a crapper. He is really a pretty tragic creature. Unlike some other monsters, he started as good and it was only the hatred in the world that set his evil loose. If you don't think he is scary then just go ahead and stare at a mirror in the dark, without blinking and say Candyman five times! The beauty of the Candyman is that he has a way of slashing and making the vistims not know it is him. His victim Helen doesn't know if it is Daniel or if it is all in her head.
