THE STORY
His mom was raped by 100 maniacs and 9 months later he was born. Later in life he began killing kids on Elm Street. When the parents found out they set him on fire and burned him. He then became a deamon that would haunt their children in their sleep. If the kids aren't scared he doesn't have any power. It is a great deal because who wants to stay awake forever and it is hard to sleep when you are scared. He uses a mean sense of humor to make everybody's worst nightmares come true. One of the only slashers who speaks quite often.
FREDDY BITS:
Craven came up with the idea from an article about a boy who had gone an entire week without sleeping because he thought he would die. His parents slipped him some sleping pills, he fell asleep an started screaming in the middle of the night. When they found him the next morning he was dead.
